Shepherd of goods,
All lovely to take.
Litigate for these little idols.
Blurring illusions,
Under expensive shades,
Blocking the light
From its glorious rays.
Who are we/am I
To try to unwind?
The never ending cycle-
Our daily grind.
Trying to weasel,
A little short cut.
Painting temples on easels,
Talking "if's, and's and but's"
Makes one go nuts,
That's for certain.
Hurting for these 15 minutes;
Praying that the seconds,
Unquantifiable Within its
Confines.
Reality unwinds,
You make it your own.
I could be pushing beverage carts on airlines I've flown.
