A Dragon's Tale

A fire breathing dragon, a white metal horse
a basket of laundry, as brandy is poured
Hearty laughter, fills the air
as this familiar face, is laden with care.

Mr. Miyagi, tucked far in the basement
I, Daniel-san, a terrific replacement;
come not to learn skill, or how to wash clothes
But come in boasting, with all of my throws.

I give him my ticket, he wishes me peace
A new year for him, in this Dragon he sees.
"Am I ready for Luck?"
I say, "Yeah, BRING IT ON!"
"Nineteen dollars, fifty" He says
-right back to being the pawn!

"Play your hand" he suggests, as I step out the door
if my instincts are right, you will find so much more.
The mystical dragon, is blessed with the curse
he is charming, he is ambition, he is generous of purse.
This is your year, two-thousand and twelve
No go spread it all, abundance and wealth.

"Yes" I comply, if you say so
but, about that laundry
can you pack it "To Go"?
